LHC forms election tribunals

 

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has set up a relay to resolve the petition filed by the candidate after the July 25 general election.

Nine judges on the LHC  have begun to hear election disputes.

The court’s seat will hold by four judges   Justice Mamoonur Rasid Sheikh, Justice Tariq Abbasi, Justice Shahid Jameel Khan and Justice Chaudhry Muhammad Iqbal.

The cases  will be heared by the three Justice include Sardar Ahmed Naeem, Justice Mujahid Mustakeem Ahmed and Justice Tariq Iftikhar Ahmed from the LHC’s Multan bench.

Judge Muhammad Amir will act as an election court in Bhatti, whereas Rawalpindi will be managed by the election title judge Mirza Waqas.

These tribunals were established after the approval of LHC Chief Justice Muhammed Yawar Ali.
