US to impose sanctions on Russia over nerve agent attack

The United States will ban Russia for using nerve agents in Russia for try to kill former Russian spies and kill her daughter in the UK.

The US State Department said on Wednesday that Russia will be banned because it uses chemical weapons in violation of international law.

In September, the former Russian spy Sergei Skriple and his daughter were poisoned by Nashishkak, a military-grade nerve agent.

The British accused Russia of supporting the attack and Kremlin vehemently denied the attack.

Since the March attacks, two other British citizens who have nothing to do with Russia have been more toxic to the substance.

According to a State Department statement, these restrictions will affect around August 22 after a 15-day congressional notice period.
